PMG Very Fine 30 EPQ - Refugio, Texas - Refugio County - 1863 Serial # 107 - Small size note Approx. 2" X 4-3/4" - Unlisted in the Medlar book. But I would guess it is a Rarity 7 with maybe 5 surviving population. Heritage offered a $2 Refugio note at auction 1/22 they state they knew of only one $2.00 note from Refugio. The one they offered PMG VF 30 serial #96 sold for $3360.00. This note is the same grade but with "EPQ" on the holder. You can also see the county stamp applied at center of note. Refugio County Warrant - Will pay the bearer $2.00 in Confederate Notes - "Rare note"
